Better Food Traders supports ethical businesses that sell and grow sustainable fruit and veg. Through accrediting and supporting food businesses that adhere to their principles and standards, their movement disrupts the current supply chain and promotes fairly paid, sustainable, tasty and healthy food – from field to fork

CLIENT BRIEF

Better Food Traders recruited Improper Agency to help them reach a wider audience and streamline their site, operations and marketing strategy.

SOLUTION

Working on a contractual basis with Improper Agency, I helped develop the content side of their marketing strategy, which aimed to galvanise, educate, and optimise the BFT website and movement. We did this in several ways:

  • 1x monthly SEO educational blog post per month

  • 1x newsletter to galvanise the community per month

  • 5-social posts a month (Facebook and Instagram)

  • Ad-hoc copyediting as required

RESULT

Driving more traffic to the BFT site and maintaining an active presence across various platforms naturally results in greater exposure. Consequently, an upshot in sign-ups, engagement and clicks allow for steady, organic growth.

    How to Identify Greenwashing

Most people care about the world. We want to do better, avoid doing harm, and know our choices are good ones. Greenwashing robs us of that conviction. While we’re shifting towards a more environmental future, conglomerates are exploiting our shared vision and using it for personal gain.
