• Manage a team of 12 writers at CBR via Asana, Slack and email to help develop their writing skills, support their growth through feedback and advice, and ensure their articles are clear, concise, and on-brand.

• Use SEO best practices to optimise each article by updating keywords, alt text, layouts, headers, and CTAs.

• Undertake market research via Google analytics/trends, PubInsights, reporting dashboards, and keyword metrics to pinpoint emerging trends and ideate articles likely to drive traffic.

• Edit copy/prose to ensure cohesive, clear, and concise language and on-brand messaging using relevant style guides.

• Maintain a consistent ToV (or develop one) for each list.

• Simplify language to create easy-to-read, audience-friendly copy that engages, entertains, and improves the customer experience.

• Edit content through the Emaki CMS system

• Write content when required/inspiration strikes

• Consistent optimisation (SEO) of articles on CBR to improve traffic across comic and movie list content.

• Regular placement in CBR’s ‘Top 30 articles’ for traffic and engagement due to my edits and SEO optimisation efforts.

• High level of engagement across comic, movie, TV and gaming list updates.
